Brian Waters (Weekdays 6a-10a)

Began a career in radio at the tender age of 16 as a summer job in Opelika, Alabama.  That summer job turned into a broadcasting career that is nearing 35 years and one that has taken him from part time DJ to Program Director and Operations manager, once overseeing 16 radio stations and 60 plus programming personnel in three separate markets.

  Brian came to Columbus, Georgia the first time in the mid 80’s where he worked with some of his early radio influences.  In 1991 he moved South working radio jobs in Brunswick, Ga., Jacksonville, FL and Daytona, Beach.  Returning to Columbus in 1994 Brian has remained a radio fixture in the market.  He has served on Auburn University’s Student Board of Communications, advising Auburn’s student run radio, TV station, Newspaper, Magazine, and yearbook.


Music of all types, great food, cooking, great wine, craft beer, movies, gardening, motorcycling, guitar, photography, sunshine, beaches and palm trees.

Brian is currently the Program Director and Co-host of the Brian and Morgan Morning show from 6am – 10am on 103-7 Lite FM (WLTC),  the top adult contemporary radio station in Columbus, Georgia.  Brian is active in several local non-profit orgaizations including Warrior Outreach and The March of Dimes and he serves on the Board of Directors for PAWS Humane Society, Columbus.
